Tay earned her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of West Alabama. She takes a strengths-based, client-centered approach to therapy, integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and trauma-informed care to tailor treatment to each individual's unique needs and goals.
Tay provides counseling for individuals ages 6 and older and has a special interest in supporting clients navigating anxiety, depression, neurodivergence, women's issues, perinatal and postpartum experiences, and life transitions.
Tay is passionate about creating a warm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe to be themselves. She believes healing and meaningful growth happen through a trusting therapeutic relationship where clients feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported. Working collaboratively, Tay helps clients build on their strengths, gain greater self-awareness, and develop practical skills to navigate life's challenges with confidence while creating a life that feels more balanced, connected, and aligned with their values.
